What emails do my members get?
3 min read
SweepSquad only emails your members about your sweepstake, and never markets to them. Here's the full list.
| When it goes | |
|---|---|
| Welcome | Only when you choose Send welcome from a member's row |
| Draw invitation | Automatically, when you schedule a draw. It links to the reveal and doesn't give away their competitors |
| Your competitors | Automatically when a scheduled draw completes, or when you press Email … to all or Send after an instant draw. Also sent to anyone added after the draw |
| Watch live | When you press Email link to all members on the Share tab |
| Sweepstake update | When you choose Send sweepstake update from a member's row |
| Knocked out | When a competitor is marked out, to the members holding it. You confirm first when you do it by hand |
| Round summary | When you press Send round summary on the Results tab |
| Winner | When you set the winner. You confirm first |
| Today's fixtures | A short morning email on match days, for linked competitions where you've switched on pre-match emails in Overview. You can mute it for individual members on the Members tab |
Emails that come to you
As the organiser you'll get a note if your sweepstake fills up through the join link, when a featured event's field is published, and the guide emails that help you get set up. You can choose which of those you receive.
